Wedding Gift For Daughter
Unique Wedding Gift
Poetry and weddings just seem to go together. The day is already full of emotion so what better way to express those feelings than in a custom written poem?
For example, you are going to have to make a speech. Nervous? You bet. What are you going to say? How are you going to say it? To a room, full of the most important people in your life.
Will your speech be funny, moving and bring a tear to the eye? That's where A Gift of Poetry comes in. Every poem is uniquely written so you will say exactly what you set out to say. You have unlimited redrafts too so any rough edges are quickly refined.
A Gift of Poetry also makes a perfect wedding day gift for the bride or groom. Whatever you do, don't forget the bridesmaids. Or your parents! A Gift of Poetry is a great way to say "thank you" from the heart. Every poem is guaranteed so you really have nothing to lose. Here's a good example of what can be achieved, Connie has kindly given her permission for her poem and story to be published:

That Smile
Ladies and gentlemen,
may I have your attention please?
Because every now and then in life,
there's opportunity you should seize.
And happily, that moment is upon us,
after all, Kristen has just got wed,
and even though I have a lump in my throat,
there are some important words that need to be said:
Firstly, I'd like to begin by looking skywards,
and thanking those in the heavens above,
because I know I've been blessed to have shared you,
I know that I've been blessed with your love.
As a child, you really loved your many stuffed animals,
and truly, I think that's helped you to become who you are today,
as you're a loving, caring friendly, nurse, daughter and friend,
and that one meaningful line still leaves so much to say:
Because Babykins, I'll always be your Mommykins,
you have a beautiful smile that the angels must see,
and I just wanted to thank you for being you,
yes, you've made my world a great place to be.
I'm sorry that your father couldn't make this speech,
but I have a feeling he's with us, in every step we take,
and I know I should thank Grandma Lil and Aunt Marleen,
they've been there solidly to care for you, without a break.
I am proud and blessed to have such a terrific daughter,
I couldn't have been prouder, walking you down that aisle,
just know that I'm very glad that you've chosen a fine husband,
yes, daughter, Kristen, Babykins, you have every reason to smile.
And I'm sure that smile helped to 'catch' Ed, your husband,
like us all, I'm sure he was lured in by your wonderful gleam,
but now I see that you're both smiling, you're so happy,
it's quite obvious that destiny meant you two as a team.
I know Ed is such a warm and loving man,
I'm proud of my new son and new found friend,
I'm sure through the years we'll enjoy a few beers together,
oh yes, one more thing, before these lines have their end:
Because your smile, like you, is beautifully photogenic,
so as always, you have just sparkled with shine,
just know that I love you, I'm very proud of you,
yes, that smile is catching, beautiful daughter of mine.

"THANK YOU ALL!!!! The package arrived on time and it brought tears to the eyes and a very loud round of applause from over 200 people who witnessed this beautiful event. People were asking about the poem and I shared the website with every enquiry.
The class and style shown from the packaging and professionalism by all of you made my day so much brighter.
I know I will be a fan and admirer of your work and will definitely be back.
Thanks again for making this such a memorable and heart felt gift from me to my one and only child/daughter/friend.
