40th Birthday Gift - Husband To Wife
Here's a good example of what can be achieved. Paul wanted something special for his wife as a 40th Birthday Gift. I think he was very happy with the result because this is what he said afterwards:
"Well, my wife has had a fantastic 40th birthday and i think in part for receiving the poem. She thought it was beautifully written with a lot of personal messages which left her in tears, once again thank you for helping me make a special wife very happy and it was special to me that i could portray messages/words to her that i otherwise wouldnt have been able to get across in such a special romantic way. Thank you. Message to anyone who reads this Highly recommended , Go ahead and do it"

My Fantastic Wife
People say that I'm not romantic,
but inside, I know that is not to be true,
because Nicola, I love you very, very much,
and that love burns strongly, just for you.
I have so much, here in this heart,
and there is so much that I need to say,
so what better time can there be?
On this, your magical, fortieth birth day?
You see, I want you to know you're important,
and yes, just how wonderful you really are,
because if my love for you were a distance,
well, it would reach way beyond the furthest star.
I know I would not be the same without you,
when I met you I was the boy, now I'm a man,
and I'm going to spend the rest of my life loving you,
and well, forever, I reckon that's a pretty good plan.
Because you are such a beautiful person,
beautiful on the in as well as the out,
and you've taught me so much in this life,
including what true love is all about.
You were strong for me when my mother died,
and I think we've both come a long way from the TSB,
I don't have to quiz or puzzle over this one too much,
because you've made my world a great place to be.
From Leeds, you lifted a soul in Newcastle,
you said you knew we'd marry from the day that we met,
and our wedding day was the very best day of my life,
although as the saying goes: "You ain't seen nothing yet!".
But I know we went through a particular difficult time,
my selfish fault, but life is never all a rose filled dream,
but through it all we stuck together, yes, Nicola,
we proved to us, the world, we truly are a team.
And I'm forever grateful that you stood by me,
I'm forever grateful, that in life, you're by my side,
I'm also grateful, because I know how much you love me,
and that thought fills my heart and soul with so much pride.
In recent years, we've had fortune with our investments,
importantly, that means we can spend more time together,
and I know what we share is precious, it's a treasure,
a rare diamond and one that will last forever and ever.
My love for you grows stronger each and every day,
and I would not be the same man without your magical touch,
you organize everything so efficiently, Nicola Waggott,
I'm proud of you, I love you so very much.
I'm so glad you said yes when you were in the bath,
and I'm sorry for putting an unromantic slant on things,
but who says a first anniversary at Butlin's is not special?
Don't tears always come when Showaddywaddy sings?
But we've also had some fantastic times in New York,
the Caribbean will always have a special place in my heart,
and I know I couldn't be any prouder of Ellen and Steven,
and to tell you all that, I just didn't know where to start.
You see, I do try and do the best for everyone,
but without you, I would be like an engine without it's oil,
without you, our family would simply not operate,
but let's keep this upbeat, these words I don't want to spoil.
Because you are at the centre of our Universe,
you mean the world to the children and I,
and Nicola, I just wanted to say I love you,
or at least, I wanted to give it my very best try.
Because you have always been there for others,
and you're one of the finest mothers on planet Earth,
and Nicola, I just wanted to say "I'm proud of you",
yes, indeed, I do know your true and honest worth.
You see, 'you' is often the very last thing on your mind,
and you've put others before you throughout your life,
and just like New York, New York: 'I'm proud of you'
I'm very proud to call you 'my fantastic wife'.
I also wanted to say Happy 40th Birthday,
I guess that's really what these words are for,
here's to you, Nicola, you're truly wonderful,
and here's to our everlasting love, for evermore.
