What are the key messages you would like to send: I just want her to know how much she means to me I don't say it enough I want her to know how proud I am to have her as my wife the two Beautiful little boys she gave me Andrew and Brady they are my life. I want her to know that I will always to my best to be the husband she deserves I want her to know I will continue to go out of my way to make her happy I just want her to know how very much I love her I want her to know what my heart wants her to know

Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: there have been times when I have broke down from the grind of the day or just the everyday stress of life and she's always there for me to share a tear she's made me realize it's ok to cry not to hold it in. the best time in my life was when she said she would marry me.. the greatest time was when my to sons were born.. we built a house together 6 years ago and it's a very happy home. Memorable moments would just be everyday life we have a camp we go to with family every summer that's very memorable every year... lets happy moment I met my wife at this place called the speakeasy a dance place back in 1989 I remember my words to her they were I just found the women I'm going to marry

Do you have any other comments or thoughts : she has taught me that Loving is not just looking at each other, it's looking in the same direction and they say behind every man stands a good women but when it comes to Shelly I would rather have her by my side I don't know If I gave you enough info all I can say is I'm a much better person for know her she gives me so many reason for living and when I'm feeling down she knows the right word to bring me back up I just feel like sometimes I let her down noting major but I just want her to know how much she means to me and how hard I try to things the right way...

My Very Core

You know that I love writing a line or two,
but I don’t always say what’s in my heart,
so now, on the occasion of our 12th anniversary,
I think it’s time I gave my feelings a head start.

You see, it’s been sixteen years now,
for sixteen years, you’ve been my life, my very soul,
you’ve never once let me down, in truth,
you’ve lifted me up, kept me whole.

I know there’s a few times I could’ve done better,
but I do my best, every day, to tell you how I feel
because even though I don’t say it enough,
I’m like an onion, every layer you have to peel.

But at my very core is my love for you,
you make sense of all the thrust and the parry,
and the finest words I ever spoke were in 1989,
when I said: "I just found the woman I’m going to marry".

In truth, it took me five years to get on bended knee,
and for that, I'm not sure who I have to thank,
but in '94, you made the happiest man in the world,
when you gladly said "yes" to my rather small fish tank.

I'm glad that I asked in front of such special,
yes, I've got a lot of gratitude for your Mom and Dad,
they've both been so good to us, they're GREAT people,
and they helped at times when our finances were bad.

And I want you to know that I’m so proud,
I’m so proud that I have such a beautiful wife,
you gave me Andrew and Brady, you are my all,
James was right: "It’s a wonderful life",

You deserve the only, the very best in this world,
so I will always do my best to be all that I can,
I want to be the husband that you deserve,
I want to be, always and forever, your man.

I want you to know what my heart wants you to know,
because I’ve never said just how wonderful you are,
but if my love for you were a distance, well,
it would reach way beyond the furthest star.

I know there have been times when I’ve broken down,
call it the grind of the day or plain old stress,
but it’s been you who’s encouraged me to cry,
holding it in isn’t a path to happiness.

You’ve given me the best and greatest times in my life,
and the house that we’ve built, well, now it’s a home,
and now, I know love is looking in the same direction,
looking at you, this boy will never, ever roam.

And they say behind every good man is a woman,
well, let me tell you, I’d rather you be by my side,
because I know I couldn’t have chosen finer,
I know I couldn’t – even if I’d tried.

I’m a much better person for knowing you,
yes, because of you I am who I am today,
you always know just the right words to lift me,
and that one line leaves so much to say.

Since '93, it’s been a struggle since the accident,
every day, it’s either been surgery, ache or pain,
but even though that moment was so tragic,
just for one moment, let’s relive it once again.

Because I thought I was dead that day,
but someone was with me, taking great care,
and my last thought was of you, my bride to be,
a beautiful vision, as I was flying through the air.

But of course, I came to Earth with such a crash,
only to be followed by such painful, depressing years,
but as I stood on that stage and sang the Banner,
it was your smile I could see, fighting back the tears.

And even though I got to re-hug my Dad,
I knew it was you that got me to that stage,
you were the one that lifted me when I was down,
you were the one who quelled that silent rage.

You stuck by me through so many trying times,
and you kept putting up with the dumb little things that I do,
and I’m just amazed you had so much love to give,
Shelly, I hope you’ve guessed, I’m very proud of you.

It was you that got me back to and then through school,
it's you who has two businesses, always working hard,
it's you who's such a great mom, a wonderful wife,
even though some days you must feel a little battle scarred.

But I know I will love you until the end of time,
and then at that end I will ask for a minute more,
because to me, you are my all, my everything,
you are my reason, you are my soul, my very core.
