It's been a wonderful first year of marriage and I'm looking forward to many more. Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: John and I met at work. We started out as friends, but it blossomed into love. John and I have had lots of changes and challenges to deal with, which has only made us stronger as a couple. A few months after we started dating, I moved to another city (Saint John). For a variety of reasons, I moved back to the same city as John (Woodstock) and we adopted my parents dog, which meant we had to move to a new apartment where we could have a dog. I travelled back and forth from Woodstock to Saint John for work. My Mom was very ill for several months, so we had to help out at my parents, who lived in Saint John, a lot. My mother passed away in October 2004 and we gave the dog back to my Father. After that I changed careers and worked in Woodstock. Then, John and I planned our entire wedding together (the wedding was more special because it was about us, not me). We had an incredibly fun honeymoon at Disney in Florida. They have special hats for honeymooners. When the employees at Disney see you with your hat, they do special things for you, e.g. a special dessert, allow you to open parades and sit in VIP seating, free champagne and a program book at Cirque de Soleil, etc. John wasn't keen on wearing the hats, until we started getting special treatment. Then, he never took it off! John and I had a baby (Jenna) on June 2, 2006, which has changed our lives completely. That's a huge challenge in itself, but one that has brought us incredible joy. All of these events have cemented our relationship. Do you have any other comments or thoughts : John has been very supportive and continues to be. I've been through a lot the past couple of years and I don't think I would have made it without him. I'm so thankful that he's my husband! My Lifetime
