Q1: What is your Name? A1: Brandon Mammen Q3: Who do you want the poem written for ? A3: My wife Jeri. Q4: Why do you want the poem written ? A4: It is her 30th birthday. Q5: What are the key messages you would like the poem to send ? A5: We have three kids. Twin 4 year old boys and a 2 year old girl. The kids and I want to express our love and gratitude for everything she has given us over the years. Q6: Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share ? A6: We have been married 8 years. We got married while Jeri was in nursing school. We had the twins right after she got out of school. They were born 8 weeks early and had many medical problems. Jeri was awesome she always took care of everything. I just want her to know how much we appreciate her. Q7: Do you have any other comments or thoughts ? A7: Jeri and I started dating in High School. She is not just my wife she is my best friend. She always gives me a hard time about gifts that I give her. i never know what to get. I think a nice poem would be just the thing. Q8: What style of poem would you prefer ? They say that marriage can be hard,
and the first years are the hardest of all,
but ours have been simply wonderful,
with you I feel about ten feet tall.
I'm so very happy that you chose me,
you have been a blessing in my life,
I am so very proud of you,
and so very proud that you're my wife.
I don't tell you often enough,
just how perfect for me you really are,
but you are my morning sunshine,
in fact, you are my shining star.
If I were to give you a score,
it would be ten out of a perfect ten,
and if you asked me to marry you tomorrow,
I would, without hesitation, do it all again.
You are the greatest gift on earth,
in fact, a gift from God above,
and now I know the meaning of marriage,
and now I know the meaning of true love.
So I just wanted to say thank you,
that's what these words are for,
just know that I love you today,
and that I'll love you for evermore.
We have three beautiful children,
in life we've been truly blessed,
and of all the mothers in the world,
you simply are one of the best.
We have so much love and gratitude,
you've given us so much over the years,
you've been like our ray of sunshine,
always there to dry our tears.
The twins were born early,
but some things just won't wait,
you were simply awesome how you coped,
you put the Capital in the word "Great".
You are not just my wife,
but indeed, my very best friend,
and not only will I love you forever,
I will love you long after our journeys end.
