A Few Words From Kimberly
Some things just go and
happen,
some things are just meant
to be,
and many times there's no
rhyme or ______,
and the lesson is so very
hard to see.
And so it was with me,
Kimberly Marie Hamilton,
it's funny, I never really
used to use my middle name,
but since my passing,
everything is different,
I know none of us will ever
feel quite the same.
Because I know I had so
much going for me,
I loved my family, my
photography, my sports, my art,
and I just wanted to say
Happy Graduation,
but where on Earth could I
possibly start?
Maybe I'll begin by getting
you to look upwards,
and thinking of me in the
heavens above,
actually, I'm doing quite
well up here,
I've been buoyed by all of
your obvious love.
And please be happy for me,
look, I'm promise, I'm
doing O.K.,
and I know you don't need
any encouragement,
but go on, please, seize
your day!
Because one day you'll get
to write like this,
and I know that's something
you wont yet understand,
but think of us all as
being part of a very big beach,
alive or dead, we're still
the same grains of sand.
And I was going to
apologize for not being there today,
but that was before I
paid my flying visit,
so, please don't worry
about me, this place is great,
and don't forget, live your
life, be in it!
And I'll be walking with
you on your journey,
whenever you need me, I'll
be there by your side,
because I know I couldn't
have chosen finer friends,
I know I couldn't - even if
I'd tried.
