HOW TO ORDER

A nonsense poem about the varying colours (or colors) of emotion
 
Colours
 
If you think about a traffic light, 
and about every different stage,
there's green, yellow and red,
while the drivers are purple with rage !
 
The boredom of grey,
the envy of green,
just the colours of emotion,
do you know what I mean ?
 
If I'm black then I'm unhappy,
If I'm white then I'm afraid,
no such thing as racial harmony,
because a spade is still a spade.
 
I'm a coward if I'm yellow,
but I can be tickled pink,
pink can also be shocking,
I wonder what the neighbours will think !
 
I'm red and embarrassed,
I'm sad when I'm blue,
some of these lines are borrowed,
but some are brand new !
