To have and to hold,
For better or for worse;
These are more than words to me,
more than simple verse.
 
Think what we've been through,
Six years as man and wife;
Eric, you and the children
have been my whole life.
 
This fight is so wrong,
It's tearing me apart;
Open up and talk to me
Soothe my broken heart.
 
It's not about trust,
My faith in you is strong,
I just got kind of nervous;
I know that I was wrong.
 
Yesterday is gone
Is tomorrow lost, too?
Can we put this behind us,
