Why do you want the poem written: We have endured so much together over the past year I just want to express how earnest my love is for her and how blessed I really am to have her.

My admiration for her will to put up with me for the last year.

And my never ending desire to wrap my arms around her and engulf her mind body and soul each time she flashes that brilliant smile my way.

Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: At Christmas I gave her all her presents when she gave me mine. At the end of the night we I was leaving I pulled out the ring I got her and gave it to her. She was soooo happy that she started crying

I bought her a star named it Nevaeh. It was one of the happiest moment that we have shared together.

4 out of the 7 high school dances that I have been to I have spent the night with her. Senior Prom was by far the best. She look beautiful in her aqua dress.

She has broken with two of her boyfriends to take a chance with me and I admire that.

Do you have any other comments or thoughts : Ashley is my lil angel And I want her to feel after reading this that any doubt she may have as to our future together should be laid to rest. I daydream about the time we spend alone. She is my center and I gravitate to her as if she was a magnet and I were metal. I want her to know that without her I would not be the man I am and that if I died tomorrow I would know I found my one true love

My Lil' Angel

Ashley, some would say it's been a difficult year,
certainly, we have endured so much together
just know that my love is earnest, eternal, yes,
you will have my love, forever and ever.

Just know that my love for you is also unconditional,
in truth, I love you with all my heart, all my soul,
for with you in my life, I am complete, yes,
you are the one that makes me completely whole.

I am totally devoted to our life together,
and yes, thanks for putting up with me,
you have nothing but my undying admiration,
yes, you've made my world a better place to be.

And now, I have a simple but never ending desire,
and that is to keep you safe, fed and far from harms,
I want to engulf your mind, body and soul,
I want to encase the real you, here in my arms.

And all I'll ever want from you in return,
well, please flash that just so brilliant smile,
look, I'm not going to get too greedy about it,
it'll be okay if it's just once in a while.

Because being with you is more than anything,
and it's more than your very fabulous gleam,
because living and being with you has been my all,
living and being with you is living out my dream.

I'm sorry that I made you cry at Christmas,
but then again, there was a lot of love etched in that ring,
and now our star, Nevaeh, is looking down on us,
and looking at just what the future may bring.

Well, the future I see is the one I've dreamed about,
because I daydream about the time we spend alone,
you always look beautiful, I get lost looking into your eyes,
you are like my lil' angel, beautiful, but not quite full grown.

Truly, you look simply ravishing, so stunning,
I'm just so glad that you broke up and took the chance,
because with you, I want to spend the rest of my life,
with you, Ashley, I 'd like to share my very last dance.

Because you are, always will be, my lil' angel,
so I hope by now, I've removed any lingering doubt,
because you are my center, my gravitational center,
and that's really what these words are all about.

Because where would the Universe be without attraction?
I think Nevaeh would get lost, spinning in the heavens above,
just know that I am who I am because of you, and, no matter what happens, I know I have found my one, true love.

"Allen, You have an amazing gift and I would like to thank you for such a wonderful way of putting my love for her into words. I like everything about this poem. I was wondering, though, if you could change the highlighted stanza? Do you think it would be ok if we just took it out? You could possibly talk about how I think she always looking beautiful and how I get lost looking in her eyes. She really does have beautiful eyes. (Changed in above draft.
