Pretty Please

What is your name : Wayne Spiker

Who do you want the poem written for: Dannielle M. Byard

Why do you want the poem written: I'm in love with a younger deserving woman

What style of poem would you prefer (happy, sad, romantic etc.): Romantic

Please choose which package you would prefer: Deluxe

Would you like a copy of the handwritten drafts : Yes

What are the key messages you would like to send: loving a younger woman I call Buttercup

Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: Her trip to Baltimore on and our subsequent weekend together on 4-1-06, cruising Baltimore's Inner Harbor aboard the Lady Baltimore (it's a ship).

Do you have any other comments or thoughts : I wrote a song for her and had it professionally put on a CD. I bought her a "Note in a Bottle" with a personal message. Tell how she's my "Cinderella". Mention the hours we spent on the phone and our first meeting in Nashville, Tn.

Pretty Please

Dannielle, gladly, I wrote you a song,
then there was my bottle, with my love inside,
as I know I couldn't have chosen finer,
I know I couldn't - even if I had tried.

And now is the time for me to let go,
let go of all that is here, in this heart,
because I just wanted to say "I love you",
but where on Earth could I possibly start?

Maybe I'll begin by looking skywards,
and counting all of the stars in the skies above,
and if you multiplied that number by ten,
well, then you'd only have a fraction of my love.

I know you're younger but that matters not,
a few Earthly years don't count against eternity,
and Dannielle, I just wanted to thank you,
to thank you for making my world the place to be.

Buttercup, you deserve only happiness,
and certainly, many more trips to Baltimore,
you're my Cinderella and you will go to the ball,
and I guess that's what these words are for.

Because with you, I want to dance forever,
just think, it'll certainly cut down the phone bill,
but ever since we first met, I just knew,
I knew that I loved you and that I always will.

I want you and I to become inseparable,
eternally linked, hands, bodies, forever entwined,
I want to be a part of you, to be inside of you,
I want, forever, to share a special place in your mind.

I want my Buttercup to be my breath of air,
Cinderella, I want you to be my all and I yours,
I want to spend the rest of my life serving you,
Dannielle, I want you to be my lifelong cause.

From our pleasurable first meeting in Nashville,
you've been on my mind, every minute, every day,
my breath of fresh air, whom I long for continually,
and that one line leaves just this to say:

Because I keep planning out our future,
and all the possibilities that make up that dream,
some would call it just a fairytale fantasy,
but not me, I think we were meant as a team.

And I promise I'll keep in clover, purple clover,
big fields of the stuff, swaying, swishing in the breeze,
I promise to make your life one big long fairy tale,
so Cinderella, will you come to the ball, pretty please?
