I am writing to request a poem for my husband.
We have been married for 6 years, and are currently expecting our second child
(this one was not planned, we had decided not to have any more when I became
pregnant while on birth control pills). We have a 5 year old son, Alex. I
would like this poem to let my husband know how much I love him, need him, and
truly appreciate him.
We were very close to separating about a year & 1/2 ago, because of (1)
things that I had done & (2) his family. We moved to another town
& began to heal our relationship. Throughout all of this, he
remained caring & understanding. He stood by me when everyone else thought
he shouldn't (including me-I was extremely depressed).
Right now there are 2 things that make our future uncertain (not as a couple,
but regarding major changes that will/have affected us)
1. The child we are expecting. We are happy & eager to welcome
our daughter to the world, but we are currently living in a small two bedroom
house with no extra space, so we will have to find someplace bigger.
Also, this will be hard to cope with financially.
2. My husband recently learned that as of March, 99 (the same month our
baby is due) my husband will no longer have a job. The company he works
for is downsizing & can guarantee his salary only until then.
Despite all of the stress in our lives now, he remains optimistic &
caring.
I want to let him know that I am there for him whenever he needs me & I
understand when he occasionally gets too stressed & becomes moody/irritable,
even though I may not always show it.
Thank you very much! Whoops!-almost forgot-his name is Kirk.
>Thanks you again,

March is a special
month,
it's when our baby was
due,
a special time for me
and you.
Don't worry about the
job,
another one will come
along,
if we focus on our
family,
then we just can't go
wrong.
to going our separate
ways,
they weren't our
happiest days.
I'm sorry for what I
did,
let it go to history
past,
and let's make sure this
time,
let's make sure we make
it last.
Through our trials and
tribulations,
you've been
understanding and caring,
you've shown what love
is meant to be.
At times I was
undeserving,
of your attention and
care,
solid and there to pull
me through,
I don't know what I'd
have done,
if it hadn't been for
you.
And now the pressure is
on,
and we could end up a
mess,
life could get on top of
us,
we could give in to the
stress.
But I'll be there for
you,
just like you've been
before,
and I will love you
forever,
for now, and for
evermore.
