Who do you want the poem written for?: My Husband, Steve

Why do you want the poem written ?: Steve is a soldier in the US Army, he was recently sent to Korea on an tour for a year. With all the things going on in the world at this time, he hated to leave. Did I mention we have only been married a year, so it was really hard on us both.

Key Messages:          Just to let him know that I love him, I am proud of him, I am proud to be his wife.

I Pray

I pray for all the people of the world

and that they will have enough food to eat.

I pray that they have warmth and shelter

and that they have shoes on their feet.

I pray that they have hopes and dreams,

and they have freedom to strive.

I pray that they have a sense of purpose

and that they're happy to be alive.

I pray that they have love in their hearts

and they have that love returned manyfold.

I pray they discover the joys of parenthood

and their children care for them when they get old.

I pray they get to know their maker

and that they learn The Universal power.

I pray they find deep, genuine happiness

and they learn the magic in every single hour.

I pray they know the joy of rain, the warmth of sun

and they know the feeling of wind in their hair.

I pray they have freedom in their hearts

and they have more than enough to share.

I pray that they know a love as deep as ours

and they have a spouse who feels as proud as I.

So these are my solemn prayers,

I'm sorry, but I didn't know where to start,

"Oh my God, how do you do these things? You are fantastic. The poem is
absolutely beautiful and it says everything. I want it and I love it so
very much, again you are fantastic. Could I get it printed on the "Beach at
Sunset" paper? Steve and I were married on the beach at sunset two years
ago, right after 9/11/01. Steve of course is military and I am a flight
attendant with American Airlines, I know too much information, anyway, I
love the poem and yes you may publish it anytime.
