I would like this poem to give to my husband on
Valentine's day.

We have been married for two years. My husband is
more than I ever thought I would find.  I never
thought I would find anyone as good, handsome,
kind and gentle as he is that would be interested
in me.  Oftentimes I say to myself how lucky and
blessed I really am.  My husband is a teacher and
I admire him so much for his work.  It is not a
job for him, a class or a grade.  It is the
opportunity to change lives.  His students all
love and respect him and I know he has big things
in store for his career.  I love him so much and
at times it is hard to remember that when we are
living the daily life that can get so routine but
I want to show and tell him how proud I am of him
and how lucky I am too!  Thank you for helping me
do this with your poem!

Heather (my husband's name is Rich)

Rich

My husband is more than,

I ever thought I would find,

he is good, handsome,

gentle and ever so kind.

Often times I say to myself,

I'm so lucky that I've been blessed,

because I am married to a man,

that is quite simply, the best.

Rich is a teacher,

I admire him so much for this,

just part of the magic formula,

that makes up our wedded bliss.

He doesn't see it as a job,

a class, a grade, or a chore,

just an opportunity to change lives,

for the better, for evermore.

His students all love and respect him,

and one thing is quite clear,

he has such a promising future,

looks like a sparkling career.

Its sometimes hard to remember,

when you are stuck in the daily grind,

to say the right words,

some times they are hard to find.

But I need him to know,

that I feel lucky and Oh, so proud !

I want to shout from the rooftops,

I want to shout it out ALOUD:

I LOVE YOU, RICH !
