Hi, I just discovered your site and think that it is great. I was wondering if you could write a poem under the basis of 'courage' - that is,
physical courage to test your limits (in a sporting sense) and go beyond the possible, into the places where the pain is so great that you think
you can't go on, but the courage and ability to dig deep must prevail in order for your dreams to be attained. Thanks heaps
I look forward to hearing from you,
Kate

A Better View

How far can you go ?
How deep can you dig ?
How high can you climb ?
Which mountains and how big ?

Because to achieve your dreams,
you will drink from a resolve filled cup,
you will fight your inner battles,
but you must never, ever give up.

Because the way to destiny,
is a rocky and uphill road,
but at the end is the harvest,
where you reap everything that you've sowed.

So go beyond the possible,
to places where the pain is great,
keep going beyond that barrier,
and get to rendezvous with fate.

Because the tougher the climb,
means it is harder to get through,
and the higher the mountain,
simply means a better view.

Thanks for the new poem. And in case you were wondering, I gave it to my friend for some motivation before the rowing trials (which was what the poem was intended for) and she came through in flying colours - in fact, she is now ranked no. 3 as opposed to no. 8. Thanks again,
Kate
