Sir, I find your style of poetry very enjoyable, and have a
favour to ask. I am 18, and have lead a very hard life. Raising myself has taught me many lessons from early in life. It has been a long hard stroll, and surely
isn't over yet. If you can think of a few words to put together about
endurance, carrying on, or happiness, and put them to the name Julianne, it would make me very happy.
Thank-you, Juli
The Battles
The war is never over,
until the fighting is done,
and the fight is never over,
until the battles are won.
The challenges in life,
can be a steep uphill climb,
no other way to face them,
other than one step at a time.
Sometimes the hill becomes a mountain,
then you do just what you can do,
and the tougher the climbing is,
simply means a better view.
And life wasn't meant to be easy,
gee, it can be a rocky road,
but never, ever give up,
look for someone else to share the load.
You must learn to love yourself,
and never, ever sell yourself short,
because a problem shared is a problem halved,
that is the thinking behind the thought.
So everything for a reason,
and you must do just what you can,
because happiness awaits you,
and you deserve it, Julianne.

Thank-you so much!! Yours is just one of the blessings that keeps me
thankful for never giving up. I have no objections to you publishing the
poem, and I will share the site with my friends.
You have given me strength at just the right time.
Thankyou,
Julianne
