Last Question What is your name : Joey Hasty Who do you want the poem written for: Shellby Brown Why do you want the poem written: I want to propose to Shellby. I want to take her to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church at night and ask her to marry me under the stars. We are expecting a baby girl in Sept 2006 it will be our first child. We met last year on an airplane were she was a flight attendant and I was a pilot, and every day since then just keeps getting better and better. She is the most thoughtful, sincere and beautiful woman I have ever known. I can not wait to raise our family together, travel the world and spend the rest of my life with her. She has left her family and all her wonderful friends in California to live with me in Texas. I know that has been hard for her especially leaving her mother, but I am very grateful she is here with me. I was married before but it did not work out. I feel that Shellby is such a better fit for me. She is hard working, fun loving, adventurous, and a really sexy woman. We seem to feed off of each others love and make each other stronger. I want the proposal to include how lucky I feel to have met her in the toughest time of my life, she is like God answering my prayer. I want her to know I will always be a great Father to Lauren our Baby girl to be born in Sept. I want her to know I view my Catholic faith and marriage as very important aspects of my life and our new life together as a family. She always tells me how I am her sunshine and I tell her she is my moonbeam. I think that really reflects how we see each other. I feel we always brighten each others days and nights. As you know, we met last
year, and,
my heart has been on
autopilot since that day,
and life just keeps on
getting better and better,
and that one line leaves so
much to say:
As you are the most
thoughtful and beautiful woman,
and I've never known anyone
to be so sincere,
and I can't wait to travel
the world with you,
yes, Shellby, I'm
talking about you, my dear.
I cannot wait to raise our
family together,
but I guess by now that comes
as no surprise,
but can you imagine what
Lauren will look like?
Beautiful!! I know she'll
have your magnificent eyes.
I know it took some courage
to leave California,
you left your family and
wonderful friends behind,
I know it's been hard for
you, but I'm so grateful,
because a love like ours is
rare, so hard to find.
Look, I know this is not my
first time around,
but thankfully, you are such
a better fit for me,
you're hard working, fun
loving, adventurous,
and you've made my world a
better place to be.
I'm also glad that you're a
really sexy woman,
because we seem to feed off
each other's love,
and I know I was blessed to
have met you,
I know I was blessed by the
heavens above.
As I met you during the
toughest time of my life,
but with you, God answered my
every prayer,
and trust me, I'll be a great
father to Lauren,
when she needs her Dad, I'll
be standing there.
I view my faith and marriage
as sacred,
and that's why we're here,
under that star,
because I've never really
told you before,
I've never said just how
wonderful you are.

needs his moonbeam,

and you said "yes",
