I would greatly appreciate a poem written especially for my great
friends, Eric and Kaye Geiger.  They have been wonderful friends and
mentors to me.

I'm a high school junior in Louisiana, USA.  I am a strong Christian. 
My name is Maggie.

Eric is a youth minister in Arkansas, USA.  Kaye is a elementary school
teacher.  They moved about a year ago, and I've only seen them once
since.  I miss them deeply and want to express that as well as how much
I value our friendship.  I would also like to express how much I think
of them and pray for their well-being and happiness.

Hello, Eric and Kaye,

this poem is just for you,

it's just a little thank you,

it's the least that I could do.

 

Because you have been such wonderful friends,

and perfect mentors to me,

you've shown me the way forward,

and how it should be.

 

I miss you so deeply,

since you moved away,

but you're always in my thoughts,

especially when I pray.

 

So these lines are for you,

some words that I wanted to express,

I just wish you all His joy,

peace and lifelong happiness.
