What is your name : Michelle Proctor

Who do you want the poem written for: My fiancee, Edward Hennessy

Why do you want the poem written: I want this to be my wedding gift to him, to declare my love for him as well as to thank him for getting me through the tough times that he has and to tell him how much I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with him. I know that the road ahead won't always be easy, but I know that we will get through it because of our love for each other and because of how truly wonderful he is.

What style of poem would you prefer (happy, sad, romantic etc.): I would like this to be very emotional and romantic... I want him to cry when he reads it!! ( because he is happy..)

What are the key messages you would like to send: I want to firstly let him know that I love him more than life itself... he is worth everything to me. I want him to know that I am excited and happy about living our lives together, about going through life with him at my side. I want him to know that having him in my life has made all of the trouble in it worthwhile. And, I want him to know that I will always be right by his side no matter what.

Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: Well, i dont know about that, but i do know that he and I started hanging out just playing chess (and he kicked my butt every time!!). He made me oragami animals all of the time, and he gave me a stuffed rhinocerous as my first Valentine's day gift, which also happened to be my first gift from him. Those are all things that we share sentiment on and enjoy remembering...

We've come a long way from that chess board,

even though you used to kick my butt all the time,

from origami animals to a stuffed rhinoceros,

you're the one who's put the reason in my rhyme.

And Edward, I just wanted to say "I love you",

this is my wedding day gift, a gift of my eternal love,

because I know I've been so fortunate to have found you,

and I know I should thank my lucky stars above.

Thank you for getting me through the tough times,

as you know, there was a fair amount of trouble of strife,

but now I looking forward to spending the rest of my time,

because I'll be sharing it with you, proudly, as your wife.

I know that the road ahead won't always be easy,

but hey! Who says that life is ever a rose filled dream?

But we'll get through it because of our love for each other,

we'll prove to the world we really are quite a magical team.

Just know that I love you more than life itself,

and I wanted you to know just how wonderful you are,

because if my love for you were a distance,

well, it would reach beyond the furthest star.

You and your love are worth everything to me,

more than all the tea in China on planet Earth,

and Edward, my husband, I wanted to say "I love you",

you see, I do appreciate your true and honest worth.

I'm so excited and happy about living our lives together,

and I can't wait to go through life, with you by my side,

because I know I couldn't have chosen a finer husband,

I know I couldn't - even if I'd tried.

and Edward, I just wanted to say "thank you",

Ed,

Despite all of the chaos, trouble, pain, and heartbreak that we've had to
endure, here we are. I wouldn't want anyone else but you; you've been right there, by my side through it all and held my heart and hand so tightly that I was sure I was going to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you so much and appreciate you for who you are. I want you for the rest of my
life. Today is not only a marker for the rest of our future but it also
symbolizes the deep and abiding love that I have for you. Thank you, my
