Unique Wedding Invitations A great idea for wedding invitations, A Gift of Poetry is a fun way of inviting your guests to your big day. It can also be used to lay down some of the rules for the day, for example, about gifts or children (to name but two).
(Here's a good example of what can be achieved, for someone who is very, very close to me :o)
The Frog's Bride It all started on the ski-slopes of Italy, as usual, Allen was merry and on the piste, and then the frog was turned into a prince, forever changed, once he'd been kissed.
But the path of true love never runs easy, (and wiser words have never been said), so their snowball managed to gather some moss, as it took over thirty years for them to be wed.
But all great things come to those who wait, and where there is a will, there is a way, so sincerely, it gives us great pleasure, to (finally) invite you to our wedding day.
June 25th, 1.30pm for 2.00pm, Freshfields, that's where the girl becomes the frog's bride, car parking is quite limited, so get a cab if you can, (it's okay, we've checked, there's no high tide).
The wedding is really one big garden party, so what you casually wear is really up to you, as you know, we're not very traditional, but there will be a few words (including "I do").
After the service, drinks will be served, they'll be on us (champagne, beer and wine), and then we'll throw a snag on the barbie, sorry, I meant that we'll be sitting down to dine.
Now, to be honest, we think young children will get bored, and we don't want you to have to chase them when they roam, we also know that this can be a touchy subject, but if you've got any, we'd prefer it if they stayed at home.
If we see any wise men (or women) bearing gifts, well, graciously and gratefully, they'll be allowed right in, and I know we're not in the first flush of our youth, but let me tell you, you're never too old to begin.
There are some accommodation options enclosed, as we don't have too many neighbors to worry about, so be warned, the party may go on into the wee small hours, and yes, you're going to have watch us twist and shout.
We think we'll manage to keep you well fed and watered, and if we start to run out, we can always send out for a bit, and now, if we ask if you have received our invitation, you can all say (all together now) : "Reddit, reddit, reddit" Copyright Allen Jesson :o) 2005
