Who do you want the poem written for: Rafael A Burgos (My partner)

Why do you want the poem written: I want to propose to Rafael and ask if him for his hand in marriage even though gays can not legally marry in the United States yet I want him to know how much I love and care about him. I am going to give him this as a present on his birthday November 18th 2005 so I want it to be special and romantic

What are the key messages you would like to send: I want to thank him for the past 8 months that we have spent together. I want to let him know that he has changed my life and I look forward to waking up to him every morning and seeing his cute smile. I want to let him also know that I want to committe the rest of my life to him and that I will love him to the end. Then most importantly the reason for the poem is to ask him to marry me and spend the rest of his life with me.

Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: When we met I was his boss and he was one of my employees and the sexual tension was very high between us and final on my birthday he took me too dinner and then we started dating and the first night we agreed to make love we went to the hotel and things were so hot that we melted the chocolates in the bed to this day we laugh about it.

Do you have any other comments or thoughts : Allen: I had e-mailed you eariler i got burnt with another internet web site who stated they did this same service so I am trusting you because I want this to be a very special moment.

Rafael, I just wanted to say thank you,

I wanted to thank you for the past 8 months together,

because I know what we share is precious,

and what we have will last, forever and ever.

I look forward to waking up every morning,

because I know you’ll be there, by my side,

and I know I couldn’t have chosen a finer partner,

I know I couldn’t – even if I’d tried.

Do you know you have the cutest smile?

You’ve certainly the hottest body on planet Earth,

and Rafael, I just wanted to say “I love you”,

you see, I do appreciate your true and honest worth.

And we’ve come a long way from being boss and employee,

but I must admit, the sexual tension always ran pretty high,

and then finally, on my birthday, you took me to dinner,

and it was about then my heart really started to fly.

Because we quickly agreed to start dating,

and I realized how much I liked you (an awful lot),

I’ll never forget our first “hotel” night,

we even melted the chocolates, things got that hot.

And Rafael, I want you to know I feel different,

honestly, I’ve never felt this way before,

and I want to commit the rest of my life to you,

because what we have will last for evermore.

And I know that we can’t legally marry,

this foolish State won’t let us be husband and wife,

but Rafael, would you please “marry” me,

because it’s with you, I want to spend the rest of my life.

And I also know that today’s your birthday,

but I think this question is more important, you understand,

so Rafael, will you make me the happiest man alive,
