My proper job is with the largest logistics provider in Australia.
I "topped and tailed" Maynes at a recent conference.
The Brand
I've been to the Grange,
And something has set me free
I've seen the possibilities,
I've seen the way it's meant to be.
I'm going back with a vision,
Some will say it's just a dream,
But just think of the potential,
If we truly were a team.
And what I'm asking,
Isn't so very hard to do,
It's about all pulling together,
Him, her, me and you.
This is about the word "we",
We all have our part to play,
Let's not keep on doing things,
Because we've always done them that way.
We need to face our dragons,
Every problem we should tackle,
We should break down every barrier,
We should break every shackle.
We've got to get rid of the signatures
Four for just one pen,
Let us all keep asking why,
Let us all keep asking when.
Because change is upon us,
You can hear the marching feet,
We should welcome the challenge
Our future we should greet.
Because hope springs eternal
An energy we can tap,
Let's not make the same mistakes
And walk into the same old trap.
We need to be wiser than an Owl,
And adaptable like a city fox,
We need to get out of our comfort zone
We need to get outside of the box.
Because we've seen a future,
Dazzling, wonderful and bright,
We've seen a marvellous opportunity,
Yes, we've seen the light.
So I ask all of you,
In this great and promised land,
To help create that glorious future,
And let it be ONE brand !
