A Gift Of Friendship

What is your name : Ernestine(Ernie) Willinghan

Who do you want the poem written for: Mary Rowell a fairly new but very good friend

Why do you want the poem written: Because she is a survivor. A person who is kind, strong and has been through a lot in her life. Having lost her husband a few years ago and survived a heart attack, she is a survivor.

What style of poem would you prefer (happy, sad, romantic etc.): Happy

Please choose which package you would prefer : Standard

Would you like a copy of the handwritten drafts : Yes

What are the key messages you would like to send: How much I treasure her friendship and especially her support through some troubled times I have had. How much I admire her fun loving ways and her strong will to reach her goal in life.

Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: Mary lives in Kentucky and I live in Maryland and we talk every day by phone and it never ever fails that one of us will start yawning and the other follows and we laugh at that and all kinds of silly things... and we are in our 50's but are good friends and giggle like young girls.

Do you have any other comments or thoughts : Just that I am blessed to have found a friend like Mary and I hope that one day we will meet. She is like a sister to me.

Mary, Mary

Mary, Mary, how does your garden grow?
My fairly new but very good friend,
I want to explain what you mean to me,
and I will, before these lines have their end.

You see, you are a survivor,
true, you've seen your fair share of strife,
but you're a person who is kind and strong,
even though you've been through such a lot in your life.

But I want you to know that you're really valued,
yes, your friendship is something that I treasure,
you've given me so much in such a short time,
with you in my life, I have wealth beyond measure.

Thanks for your support during my troubled times,
you were there when my future was decidedly ill,
just know that I admire your fun loving ways,
and I know you'll reach your goal in life (with your will).

Kentucky and Maryland are so connected,
and we prove that on the phone, every single day,
although sometimes it can be one big yawn,
but we both laugh at just about everything we say.

We're in our fifties but we giggle like young girls,
in truth, you're more like a sister to me,
and Mary, I just wanted to say "thank you",
you've made my world a better place to be.

And at the start I asked a question,
but I think the answer you already know,
because you share so much of it around,
and of course, with love, a garden will grow.

Hi Allen,

The poem is lovely.

And yes I would like to upgrade to the DELUXE PACKAGE.

Also I would like to tell you that the poem you wrote to my brother last year made him a very happy man. He said it was the best gift he had ever received.

Sincerely,

Ernestine Willinghan
