Do I make any money ?

The simple answer is that I don't. This is a labor of love. 25% of the net proceeds get donated to charity. My percentage of the fees and the small amount of advertising income just about cover my running costs (my time is free...). I try to keep my prices down so that most people can afford the service. 

However, I am no mug because:

If the site is paying for itself, my wife and bank manager are happy.

If I write a decent poem for you then you and yours are happy.

If the site has good and interesting content then the visitors are happy.

If the donations help a few under privileged people then they will be happier.

And if I achieve all of the above, then I am happy.
