She makes me a better person. She is the first thing I think of when I wake up and the last thought when I go to sleep. She is my best friend. She is, in fact, perfect. Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: We met when she was a student at blackburn college and I own a bar that she came to. We were always “friends” and called each other sis and brother. She stayed in town and got a job working for a telephone company. Some of her coworkers and friends tried to convince us both, separately of course, that we were perfect for each other. We both just thought we were friends. Her friend took some pictures of us one night having fun and it clicked with her. One night with her friends, she said she was going to tell me she liked me. She told me that she would like it if I took her out sometime. So I took her to a late night breakfast right then and there when the bar closed. Though kind of spur of the moment thing, everything has been perfect ever since; from the outside, under the enormous tent wedding and bahamas honeymoon to walking spencer, our wonderful yet mischievious chocolate lab and spending lazy sundays at home. I love when she wrinkles her nose, that she doesn’t realize she does. I love when we take pictures together that capture the true us. In fact, we both think that people would think we are strange if they could peer into our daily lives but it is just us, being the happiest we’ve ever been. Do you have any other comments or thoughts : I want this to let her know I love her more each and everyday unconditionally. I never thought life could be so good but she has made it that way for me. We have everything we could want.. love, family, good health, good careers, a great chocolate lab and a wonderful home, actually, she made it a home, a beautiful, well kept home. I love spending every possible moment with her. something treasured, you know, that sort of thing,
because you’ve been the gold in my life, yes,
you’re the golden gold in this wedding ring.
you’re the best thing that’s ever happened in my life,
and I just want you to know that I’m proud of you,
yes, I’m very proud indeed, to call you “my wife”.
and yes, you’re the last thing I think of at night,
you are my best friend, you are, in fact, perfect,
in my life, you are my everything, you are my light.
sis and brother, yes, we were always “friends”,
but you stayed in town, got ‘connected’, and
I’m just so glad that’s not where this story ends.
for they could see, what we, surely could not,
it was plain to them, we were perfect for each other,
but we thought that ‘friendship’ was all that we’d got.
and thanks to Mr. Kodak, the Universe rearranged,
so you told me that you’d like it if I took you out,
